At York County Firelocks it is our goal is to make parts of the highest quality and authenticity to enable a builder to assemble a flintlock pistol that is  as close to owning an original as possible. 

We purchased Kennedy Firearms April of 2008 and are
expanding upon the business that Bill Kennedy had started:
high quality custom muzzleloading pistol sets, parts and castings.

 BARRELS
 Our barrels are custom made for us by the Getz barrel company. And are copied from originals and include all of the smallest  details. They are available in steel, naval bronze and damascus  steel with custom sizes also available on special order.

LOCKS
We are using the following high quality locks: Ditchburn, Small Siler, Caywood Euro-Lock, Chambers Queen-Ann pistol locks.

HARDWARE
Our hardware is cast from both rubber molds and hard tooling. We inject our own waxes and cast in soft yellow brass and sterling silver. Currently we are making new molds of many new pistol gun mountings. We also will make custom molds for customers and cast parts for them time permitting. 

STOCK PATTERNS
The stock patterns that we have available are taken from original European and American weapons.  We precarve and inlet the stocks ourselves. And stocks are available in
Red maple, Sugar maple, Black walnut, English walnut, Swiss pear, Cherry and others in various different grades and figures. The stocks are precarved with the correct architecture, & are inletted for: barrel channel, trigger slot and the lock mortise.

PAYMENT
We accept the following forms of payment: Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, Business Checks, Personal Checks. A $30.00 fee with be charged for all returned checks.
